KompasTV: No. 1 in Optimising YouTube Channel

I have been doing my essay about Managing Strategic Change. I decided to take Kompas Tv as one of examples on my case study. I was then interested to gather more data about its strategy in squeezing benefits from social media. So, I was arrived in YouTube. Using channelmeter.com as my analytics tool, I found that Kompas TV has been on top in terms of optimising YouTube as one of its media extension, compares to its competitor from other news TV channels in Indonesia. 

The first TV which created YouTube channel is Metro TV News. However, the number of videos uploaded was just nearly half of video that uploaded by KompasTV. In addition, Metro TV News' subscribers is just 10% of overall KompasTV's. Surprisingly, the leader of news TV in Indonesia, TV One, seems not interested on distributing its content to YouTube. Been joining YouTube since 2014, TV One just uploaded 754 videos. As a result, TV One's subscribers is no more than 500 YouTube users. The most progressive new-comer is BeritaSatu TV. Despite its lack of subscriber (0 subscriber), BeritaSatu has uploaded more than 50,000 videos and views more than 33 million times.
